The food’s really worth trying. We had a Mix Starter Delight, Panang Chicken Curry and Chow mien prawn noodles. The quantity is good enough for two people to share( depends on the number of dishes you order)and the food is really really tasty. You can adjust your spice levels while ordering. Overall, our experience was great. The food’s tasty, service was quick and the price point is very affordable.
My boss in VA recommended this shop to me for a traditional, working folks' complete English breakfast. I was not disappointed. I love tomatoes with my breakfast, and these folks used romas. Perfect. Black pudding was fantastic. I'll be back.
I went with my colleagues after work. We enjoyed the atmosphere which has a nostalgic atmosphere, just like an old diner. The amount of the food wasn't so much but tasty, so we ordered some and shared. It's in a convenient location, but the prices of dishes are not too expensive. We enjoyed tasty tea and lovely desserts as well. We will definitely go back again.
Fantastic place .. I only wish I'd taken a photo of my meal to share with you .. amazing atmosphere.. excellent service and beautiful food too.. I can highly recommend the cod in garlic and black pepper sauce with steamed rice .. delicious and less than £10 too .. you can even take your own alcohol along with you too .. what more could you possibly want? .. I'll definitely be back
I love Lower Marsh. Discovered it by chance a few years ago and now make a pilgrimage there every time I’m in London. It’s a hidden gem of a place with eclectic street food outlets bars and little curiosity shops. Among this is Marie’s cafe. Don’t expect swanky pretence. This is definitely substance over style. For less than 15 quid I got a beer, chicken satay side and green curry. Absolutely delicious.
