Always amazing. Favourite Thai place in London. Proper Thai vibes, cheap as chips, quick and really lovely folks. Often a queue coming out the door, but always worth the wait.
Although the Thai food was quite nice. The server was not. I noticed he treated me and my daughter significantly different from other diners there. Had to go to the counter to get a spoon for our tea and saucers. He was ignoring us throughout . I will not be going there again.
Disappointing. My portion of stir-fry prawns was tiny for the price - £7 - and the rice was another £1.50. I left still hungry. The food itself wasn't terrible - just bland, particularly for self-proclaimed Thai food. Restaurant itself is shabby and a bit grubby-looking, which wouldn't be bothersome if the food was higher-quality. There's a lack of vegetarian options, as well. Currently at a chip shop because 5 prawns didn't cut it!
Great little cafe for work lunches. Really reasonably priced. Quick service and output if you are on a tight schedule. Jacket potatoes are really nice and the breakfasts are good too!
Marie's does great thai dishes at good prices. The lunch deal is especially good value, and very filling! The only downside to the place is it's size - if you go in a group larger than 4 then it's difficult to sit together, and you have to squeeze between tables to go to the toilet. Otherwise, it's a good place for a quick, cheap and tasty meal.
